Liz Berger

Liz brings a wealth of experience to the team.  She has a Diploma in Business from Sydney University; is a Graduate Member of the Company Directors Institute of Australia; has an Advanced Certificate of Community Service Management; Certificate of Welfare Studies; Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy; Diploma in Real Estate and is a Management Member of the Hunter Business Chamber.   With the Newcastle City Mission, Liz was responsible for managing a budget of $2.5m for 9 government funded projects over a 3 year period.  Liz was the coordinator of the Pensioners Advisory Service for 5 years; Project Developer and Exec. Officer/Founder of DVARS Inc (Domestic Violence Agency Referral Scheme Inc); Project Developer of Seed Circus for 2 years and National fundraiser for Worldskills Australia raising $1.25m in goods and cash for the National Competition in 2004.  Liz is a business owner providing business strategic planning advice through "Essential Business Profiles".  Liz is also the coordinator/developer of "Youthmark.com.au" receiving funding from the Department of Education Science and Training for development and maintenance of this youth focused website.
