Aviation Program

THE OUTBACK AVIATION PROGRAM

SOUTH WEST QUEENSLAND

The development of an Outback Aviation Program is being developed for 2012- 2014 in South West Queensland. This has come about out of a need from individuals, property owners and professionals working within the industry, highlighting the urgent need to commence an aviation program in this region.

At present there is very limited aviation training on offer West of Toowoomba and nill in South West QLD.

Presently Eagle EDGE Solutions is sourcing funding to get this program started.

The program will entail participants assisting in the fabrication of a Savannah Outback aircraft.  www.outbackaircraft.com those participating within the program will be given their first flights within the outback aircraft.

  • The fabrication of the Savannah  will be supervised by qualified aircraft engineers from Charleville.
  • The pilot training will be done by qualified Instructors.
  • Pilot training in RA will also be conducted in an additional aircraft.
  • The project seeks to become self funding through the construction of the Savannah aircraft, selling the aircraft to raise the funds to purchase the second kit to continue the project the following year and so on.

 The goals of the program.

  • Providing aviation training opportunities in South West Queensland
  • Empowering Youth and Adults.
  • Employment opportunities in Aerial Mustering
  • Alternative Educational program for High School Students (in Manual Arts Studies)
  • Further Educational opportunities in Aircraft fabrication and maintenance
